01 / About mnw

The math is the product.

mnw is the honest broker for life insurance and annuities, made possible by AI. We run two motions: buying new coverage and reviewing what you already own. Both motions share three commitments: our analysis doesn't know what we'd earn, we tell you when the product or change isn't right for you, and we disclose what we earn on every option.

02 / What we're building

Life insurance distribution is engineered around the commission.

It's the largest line of insurance in the U.S. by premium volume and the most distorted by commission. We started mnw to fix that, for both motions.

The problem

Most agents earn 2 to 3 times more selling indexed universal life than whole life, regardless of which fits the buyer. Most agents won't walk you through the rider math because it isn't in their interest to. Most agents who review your existing coverage will recommend a replacement almost every time, because replacement pays a full new-policy commission and hold pays nothing.

None of that is a failure of individual agents. It's the shape of the distribution model. Every form, every callback funnel, every soft close exists to get past your hesitation rather than to give you the math.

What we're building

We're rebuilding the experience for both motions. We run two AI agents instead of one: the Analyzer reads your situation and writes the recommendation; the Placement agent reads the recommendation and places the business. Information moves one way. The current public flow starts with the advisor call; form, upload, and text continuations are planned for the authenticated portal. Real illustrations during the conversation. A real recommendation document on review-coverage cases, with the four-option commission display (Hold / Modify / Replace / Surrender).

The economics work because the AI scales the analysis and the placement business funds the agency. The recommendation runs separately. The recommendation pipeline is architecturally separated from the commission database. The analyst can't see what mnw stands to make on any option. That's the structural change. Everything else follows from it.

For you The recommendation you hear is the one that fits your situation. The commission shows up on page 1 of every option we put in front of you.

03 / What we believe

Four working beliefs.

The decisions we made early that everything else has to fit around. Posted so the reader knows what to hold us to.

01.

The math is the math.

We show you the rider structure, the cash-value column, the dividend assumptions, the IRR at year 20. If we can't explain it, we don't sell it.

For you You evaluate the recommendation against the numbers. If we can't show the math, we don't sell the product.
02.

The AI handles the work.
A licensed human signs off.

Application intake, illustration generation, underwriting follow-up, client communications: the work humans used to do for transaction-fee reasons. Every submitted application is read by a licensed compliance officer before it goes to the carrier. The foundation.

For you You spend twenty minutes with an advisor instead of weeks in a callback funnel, and your case never reaches the carrier without a licensed human signing off first.
03.

Compliance is the foundation,
not the polish.

Every conversation is recorded. Every state change is audited. Every application is reviewed by a licensed human before it goes to the carrier. Compliance lives in the foundation, not the polish.

For you Your case never reaches the carrier without a licensed human signing off on it first.
04.

No commissions on the advisor's calls.

The AI advisor scales. Commission does not have to. The advisor earns the same regardless of what you buy. Zero. The recommendation pipeline is architecturally separated from the commission database; the audit log proves the separation on every case.

For you You get the recommendation that fits your situation. The commission on every other option sits next to it in dollars.

04 / Why now

Three reasons
the timing works.

The market context that makes an AI-native life agency possible this year and not three years ago. Brief, defensible, no futurism.

i. Voice AI

Voice AI has crossed the consultative bar.

A 30-minute consultative conversation is indistinguishable from a human-led one in most cases. The model holds rider math across context, pushes back on a bad idea, explains dividend mechanics in plain English. That wasn't true in 2023.

ii. Accelerated underwriting

Healthy under-50 applicants skip the exam.

Accelerated underwriting at major carriers has removed the paramed-exam friction for most healthy applicants under 50. Decisions in 24–72 hours instead of 4–6 weeks. The application flow finally fits into one session.

iii. AI is working

AI is working.

AI now does the work an agency stack requires: pulling a real carrier illustration during a call, reading a transcript for compliance flags, drafting the suitability notes a licensed reviewer signs off on. These workflows run in production today across regulated industries with audit trails and human review baked in.

06 / Contact

If you want to talk.

For most things, the advisor is the fastest way to get a real illustration and a real answer. For everything else, write to us. We read it.

If you're a prospective buyer, the AI advisor is the fastest way to get a real illustration and a real answer. If you have an existing policy and want an honest read, the review motion at /review-coverage is the right starting point. If you're an RIA, CPA, estate attorney, journalist, or regulator, /contact is the right place to start.

If you came in to see whether mnw is a real, considered operation, we hope this page made the case. If it didn't, write and tell us what's missing.
